How the Center Came to Be

15 years ago, I was Director of a Spiritually Conscious Singles Network with 300 members. We were mentioned in one of Robin Newman’s book “How to Meet a Mensch” as an upscale organization. Being part of that group was the driving force leading me to be a spiritual student/teacher and director of this Center.

My thirst for knowledge has taken me on a twenty-three year spiritual healing path as a metaphysics student. Learning & working with many renowned teachers via the Eyes of Learning (one of the oldest Metaphysics study groups on Long Island), I am currently a member of their Council and the Programming Chairperson. In that position I’ve been contributing and seeking to bring new and exciting lectures to Long Island.

As a certified Hypnotist and active member of the National Guild of Hypnosis, I combined energy healing and hypnosis in the healing sessions and included Guided Imagery Meditations to help release fears, phobias, and past life issues.

In my private practice as Reiki Master,I teach Usui Reiki as well as give healing to those in need. Additionally, I am a member and healer, of New Horizon Spiritual Church.

I established an ongoing Goddess Circle; women supporting each other. We get together monthly for moon ceremonies, drumming, chanting, and healing. It’s both theraputic and a fun, social gathering.

We needed a home for all our activities. Coincidentally, my husband Neal and I were renovating our 50 years plus house in Hicksville. Neal, who is very supportive of my endeavors, has created a sacred space (home) for the center. The Center of Inner Wisdom, a place of healing and transformation.
